Hello there as we're nearing the end of year.  It has been a stellar one to say the least and we're gearing up for 2016 as we speak!

So, I just dropped in to say a few words about SYSTEMS.  In business, any business doing 100% of the work while only gaining 1% of the return is just not the best feeling or outlook.  However doing 1% of the work while gaining 100% profit IS THE NAME OF THE GAME.

If you've been struggling online thinking "how am I going to get leads?" "How am I going to make money while I build my business?" And the all too familiar saying, "How much is it going to cost in order for me to see a profit?" by far has to be the question I receive more than any other.

The key to success is to RESEARCH the companies, compensation plans and potential profit you want to make with your new venture.  The most important aspect is to find out WHAT TYPE OF DUPLICATABLE SYSTEM is in place for you to learn, market, promote and repeat for SUCCESS.

IF SOMEONE WOULD HAVE TOLD ME...

If someone would have told me 20+ years ago as I was graduating from college that being in business for yourself meant NETWORKING WITH & HELPING OTHERS would be just two keys on your WAYS TO SUCCESS...I think I would have thought differently about business.  If there were a group or some mentor that would have taken me by the hand and showed me the way without asking for the MONEY UPFRONT I believe I would have been much further ahead.  In fact, I don't think that many of the people that I connected with were even sure of the PATH TO SUCCESS...they were just as clueless as I was and in the end we all may have suffered.  Sure, there were many successful people, but they were mainly successful because they kept the door to that success WELL GUARDED by hefty fees, meetings after meetings and many were just PROFESSIONAL LEADERS with FLEDGLING FOLLOWERS who gave up time after time.

Now, I want to spend some time talking about the BEST SUCCESS STORY of my career and I want to ENCOURAGE YOU to TAKE THE JOURNEY WITH ME!

First off, SUCCESS is not for a select few! It is for those who WANT IT, WORK FOR IT and who HONESTLY CONNECT WITH OTHERS TO ENSURE IT!

True, that while it is a JOURNEY never ever believe that it is a journey for a select group of people in a select business although you can SELECT THE WAY you will carry out HOW TO GET TO THE SUCCESS YOU WANT TO SEE.

The Mindset of NETWORK MARKETING

Over the years I've had the privilege of being a part of some really great businesses.  Mostly start-ups, but as with any business your particular part in it is START UP.  Take for instance NETWORK MARKETING...not unlike any other business that is out there, it always gave me a sense of "being in business" without the massive overhead that comes with opening a store.  However, I want us to look at the way we view it as a business model and of course to believe in whatever product or service that the company we're interested in MARKETING should be.

The key words, NETWORK and MARKETING are the most important to understand as it lays the foundation for us see what business model we're really working with to achieve the kinds of results we want.  Now we've all heard of people becoming massively wealthy and financially set for life from this venture, but for most folks even financial stability escapes them because they have yet to look at the two words that are the foundation of their business.
 

NETWORK: An extended group of people with similar interests or concerns who interact and remain in informal contact for mutual assistance or support.

MARKETING: The action or business of promoting and selling products or services.

While there are many definitions for these two words, I chose these as the most suitable for this article.  To understand that you're required to (according to these definitions) work with people of similar interests in the promoting and selling of products and services is the KEY, is to also understand that you have a responsibility to learn HOW TO work with people so that you achieve your desired result and that they receive your product or service in the best manner possible.  It means you have to educate yourself on the industry of the business that you're in (i.e. health, wealth, personal benefits, wireless services, etc); the target market that you want to reach; the specific company that you're working with; and some other key points long before you begin to count the dollars that you want to see come to you over and over again because of NETWORK MARKETING.  If we took our businesses as seriously as that, I believe more people would find the financial freedom they were looking for.

You see, to the newcomer or those who've tried company after company without much success more often than not miss the golden opportunity to REAP THE HUGE BENEFITS of having a company at their fingertips if they'd just learn what NETWORK MARKETING is and how to run their particular franchise.

Now, I introduced another word....FRANCHISE.  Which means, "An authorization granted by a government or company to an individual or group enabling them to carry out specified commercial activities." In short, the NETWORK MARKETING company is authorizing you to carry out the functions of doing business in their name while giving you a profit for doing so.  However, as with any business...YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT SERIOUS!  It's more than just money that should motivate you although that may be your chief objective because you have to NETWORK with others and the bottom line is that you have to think of your end user as well as your team's interests in order to achieve your result (whatever that may be).

All in all...NETWORK MARKETING IS A BUSINESS....NOT A GET RICH QUICK OPPORTUNITY...You've got to work it like a business and remember, WE'RE HERE TO HELP!

The Most Important Person in BUSINESS!

Often when we think of IMPORTANT PEOPLE IN BUSINESS many names come to mind, Norman Vincent Peale, Napoleon Hill, J.P. Morgan, Henry Ford, Reginald F. Lewis and so many others, but I want us today to think of ourselves.  Have you looked in the mirror lately and thought to yourself that YOU are the most important person in your business?  Sure, customers and clients are VERY IMPORTANT too, but if you don't get up everyday and see that you have one of the greatest businesses on earth and everyone has to know, then by far you won't be in business long.

When I was a kid we used to have to do an exercise that was to build our confidence.  That exercise was to look in the mirror and just LAUGH!  Why? Did we have to do that? For the simple reason that we were to not take ourselves too seriously and to understand that the person looking back at you laughing was the one who ultimately could bring you joy and happiness.  To this day at the tender age of 42 I get in the mirror and just allow myself to laugh.  To laugh at the beauty that is within me that I can show the world and then I translate that into my business.

If I feel good about me, then no matter what product or service I have I'LL ALWAYS KNOW THAT PEOPLE ARE BUYING ME AND MY STORY LONG BEFORE THEY TOUCH WHAT I HAVE TO SELL.....

Many times we are afraid to tell people that we are in business.  Especially NETWORK MARKETING! I feel compelled to let people know at every setting that I am in Network Marketing and that it is what helps me make wise buying decisions everyday.  WHY!? Because I know that every business in America or anywhere else in the world has a network, but it is with network marketing that groups of people working together reap the benefit of that group effort.
